Apps4Rent Provides Microsoft Hosted Exchange Plans

Apps4Rent LLC, a hosting provider of premium business messaging and collaboration solutions, today announced flexible price plans for Microsoft’s Hosted Exchange 2007. The company states that these hosted exchange business e-mail plans offer the Web hosting best value to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) and resellers.

The company explains that its Hosted Exchange 2007 plans provide customers with industry standard features at value prices with 24/7 phone, e-mail, and chat support. It also includes free Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008, Outlook Web Access, anti-spam and anti-virus protection, SharePoint space of 500 MB, and Microsoft’s activesync software that enables synchronization with phones and PDAs such as iPhone, Treo, and Windows Mobile based smart phones. Blackberry synchronization feature is available for an additional fee.

The company avers that plans are available for resellers who can private label the offerings in multiple languages and currencies with access to a user friendly Web based control panel based on Microsoft’s Hosting and Messaging Collaboration (HMC) solution. With the HMC based control panel, company’s plans to offer additional hosted products from Microsoft that integrate with Hosted Exchange and SharePoint and will be sold through resellers, it adds.

RackSpace to offer Sonian E-mail Archiving Service

Mailtrust, a business e-mail specialist and a division of Rackspace Hosting, has selected Sonian Inc, a provider of e-mail archiving services, to provide it with an affordable, scalable and secure hosted e-mail archiving solution for its customers.

The company states that with organisations in both the private and public sectors depending heavily upon e-mail communication, e-mail archiving has become a requirement for many businesses across the board.

It also says that archiving helps satisfy regulatory requirements in industries like finance, healthcare, government and many others that require the secure capture, long term storage and rapid electronic discovery of email data. The company avers that e-mail archiving is also beneficial in helping organisations address a number of operational concerns such as escalating capacity on email servers, backup and business continuity.
